The Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM) is the largest society representing Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in Malaysia. Established in 1963, with 1600 active members at the moment, OGSM has been the voice of women’s health in Malaysia for the last 60 years.
It remains an independent, non-profit and non-governmental organisation affiliated to the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) and the Asia-Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG).
The first conference of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia was inaugurated in 1990, pioneering education and defining standards in women’s health in Malaysia. OGSM has a proven track record of organising numerous successful international conferences and it still holds strong to its values of advocating, empowering and to improve the standards of women’s health in Malaysia and in the region.
