Dr Devendra is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Singapore General Hospital and Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical Schools. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1992. After stints in orthopaedic surgery, neonatology, colorectal surgery, general surgery and emergency medicine, he pursued specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology.
As part of his postgraduate training, he spent 2 years working in the United Kingdom, including one year at the St George’s Hospital Medical School in London where he was Senior Registrar and Honorary Clinical Lecturer. He has a clinical interest in the management of high-risk pregnancies and intrapartum care and is presently lead clinician for the delivery suite at the Singapore General Hospital.
