Graduated from the University of Malaya in 1974
Formerly Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at both the University of Malaya and the International Medical University where he was the first Dean of the clinical school. He was Adjunct Professor to the International Medical University for research as well as UTAR medical school.
Special interests: Maternal – Fetal Medicine, Menopause, Maternal Nutrition
Spoken extensively locally and Internationally
Published 140 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and chapters in 21 books on Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Have sat and currently on a number of international advisory boards
