Professor Tak Yeung Leung

Professor Tak Yeung LEUNG is Assistant Dean of Medical Faculty of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Professor Leung’s research interests and professional expertise are in prenatal screening, diagnosis and therapy of fetal abnormalities, twin pregnancy, preterm delivery, fetal growth restriction, and emergency obstetrics.
He has published more than 350 papers in international peer reviewed journals, and his current H-index is 51. He is most well-known for his work in maternal circulating cell-free fetal DNA for non-invasive prenatal diagnosis, prenatal genetic diagnosis using chromosomal microarray and now whole genome sequencing, fetal surgical therapy, external cephalic version, and shoulder dystocia.
Professor Leung on being appointed as a "Changjiang Scholar" chair professor Organized by the Ministry of Education of China, he has been leading various international congresses and regional courses, which have become the most popular regional academic platforms for Obstetrician.
