He received his postgraduate O&G training and received his Masters O&G (UKM)  in May 1995, posted as specialist-consultant at several major government hospitals in Pahang and Johore. He retired as Senior Consultant & HOD at Hospital Sultan Ismail, JB in 2019. Former members and hold important post in National O&G Development, Confidential Enquiry on Maternal Death, Conjoint board O&G, National Specialist Registry and Quality Assurance programme. Involved in both under-postgraduate teachings and examiner.

Former chairman in Fellowship Training, Gynaecology Oncology, Ministry Of Health  for 15 years. He received training and certicate in Clinical Research Management in London in 2006. Since then, he has led  hospital Clinical Research Center  as trainer in GCP, both investigator initiated and industry sponsored clinical research respectively. CRC HSIJB  was recognized as best hospital clinical trial site in Malaysai in 2019. He also presented his hospital success story at European Medical Agency (EMA) conference held in Dubai 2018 and won the Best Hospital Award.

He has chaired more than 200 external/internal inquiry in MOH and been called upon before court as medical expert witness for both government/private sector. He is the Managing Director AlFath Makmur Sdn Bhd managing Pusat Dialyisis Ikhlas, Taman Daiman Jaya, Kota Tinggi, Board  of Directors UTM Holding. MSQH surveyor since 2000 and freelance GP/Obgyn actively involved in several medicolegal suits as an expert witness.
