Dr. Muhammad Rafiuddin Bin Hamizan is a dedicated medical specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hospital Tunku Azizah, Kuala Lumpur. With a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Volgograd State Medical University and a Master’s in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DrObGyn) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, he has established himself as a leading expert in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.

Actively performing Level III-IV laparoscopic surgeries, Dr. Rafiuddin is committed to advancing surgical techniques and patient outcomes in the field. He is a key contributor to the initiation of the Special Interest Group program under the Ministry of Health for Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery and is currently spearheading efforts to establish a Robotic Gynecological Surgery service at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

He plays a crucial role in professional training, frequently conducting workshops and conferences such as the Kuala Lumpur Laparoscopic Workshop and the 3D Advanced Laparoscopy Conference. Additionally, he actively participates in clinical visits to other hospitals, training medical professionals in laparoscopic surgery to enhance nationwide surgical capabilities.

A committee member of the Gynaecology Endoscopy Society of Malaysia (GESM), Dr. Rafiuddin is also a member of the Advanced MIS, Robotic, and Ablation Society of Gynaecologists Malaysia (AMRAS).

His research contributions span several high-impact publications on topics such as endometrial cancer immunotherapy, cervical screening in pregnancy, and menstrual health improvement through probiotics. He is also an advocate for women's health and HPV screening programs, reinforcing his commitment to enhancing medical care and education in Malaysia.
