Prof. Dr. Woo Yin Ling is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Malaya and a consultant gynaecological oncologist. Trained in the UK, she holds a PhD in Pathology from Cambridge University. She is recognized for her leadership in cervical cancer prevention and research, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Dr. Woo pioneered Program ROSE (Removing Obstacles to Cervical ScrEening), which empowers women to self-sample for HPV and ensures linkage to care through a digital registry. Her contributions earned her prestigious honors including the FIGO Award (2021) and Rachel Pearline Award (2022).

She is a key international voice in cervical cancer elimination, serving in advisory roles for AOGIN, APEC, the Commonwealth taskforce, and as a board member of the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS). She is also a founding trustee of the ROSE Foundation.
