Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anizah Ali is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), specializing in Paediatric C Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG) and Oncofertility. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from UKM in 2001 and was conferred with Master’s in Obstetrics C Gynaecology (MOG) from UKM in 2011. Following her specialist training, she served at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) before returning to UKM to pursue sub-specialization in PAG.

During her fellowship, she completed Reproductive Training under the UKMMC Reproductive Centre in 2017 and subsequently obtained her IFEPAG1 Fellowship. Her clinical and research interests focus on fertility preservation in children and adolescents, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), adolescent bone health, and the surgical and non-surgical management of Müllerian anomalies. She is currently completing her PhD, which focused on oncofertility for children and adolescents, further advancing the field of fertility preservation in Malaysia.

She is actively involved in both clinical practice and academic teaching, providing specialized care for pediatric and adolescent gynecological conditions at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) and Hospital Tunku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani (Hospital Pakar Kanak-Kanak UKM). She plays a vital role in oncofertility services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve fertility preservation options for young patients undergoing gonadotoxic treatments.

Dr. Anizah actively contributed to research, having published scientific articles, book chapters, and health education materials on reproductive health and PAG issues. She appeared as speaker at national and international conferences, sharing her expertise in fertility preservation, adolescent gynecology, and reproductive health. She also engages in patient advocacy, collaborating with support groups such as MRKH Malaysia to raise awareness and support for young patients with reproductive health challenges.

As an active member of several professional organizations, she is affiliated with the Malaysian Society for Fertility Preservation (MSFP), Asean Oceanic Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (AOSPAG), International Federation of Juvenile and Infant Gynecology (FIJIG), Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM), Malaysian Association of Adolescent Health (MAAH), and Malaysian Menopause Society (MAMANEH) among others.

With her dedication to clinical excellence, education, and research, Dr. Anizah Ali continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of pediatric and adolescent gynecology, oncofertility, and women’s reproductive health in Malaysia and beyond.
