Dr Suresh had his postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Malaysia and the UK.  He had sub-specialty training in Gynaecological Oncology at the Northern Regional Gynaecological Oncology Centre, UK as well as the Department of Cancer Medicine, University of Sydney, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London as well as a Fellow ad eundem of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

Dr Suresh is Vice-President of the Asian Society of Gynaecological Oncology, a Board Member of the Asian Gynaecological Oncology Group and Co-Chairs the Asia-Pacific HPV Coalition.  He is a Past President of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Malaysia. He is also an Editorial Advisory Board member of the Journal of Gynaecological Oncology.
